BEN PEARSON ART

I am an artist based in Culmstock on the edge of the Blackdown Hills.  I work predominantly in dry media including pastels, charcoal and coloured pencils.

 

My primary focus and motivation is to create works of art which above all else depict an animal's character and personality - whether within a formal, often finer, traditional portrait or in a more candid (and sometimes unorthodox) composition.

Outside of artistic endeavours I am fortunate to spend most of my working life with a wide variety of horses, dogs and other animals across the beautiful Devon and Somerset countryside.
